Investigating the neural basis of human cognition — spatial attention, body representation and recovery after brain injury — at the University of Tübingen.
Sektion Neuropsychologie Tübingen — Forschung und neuropsychologische Diagnostik am Zentrum für Neurologie, Universität Tübingen.

Investigating hemispatial neglect after right-hemisphere stroke — perception of body orientation, spatial attention and exploration.
02Mechanisms of sensory extinction and the loss of awareness for one's own neurological deficits following focal brain damage.
03How the brain builds percepts of objects and scenes, and how object and scene recognition break down after cortical lesions.
04Postural control, verticality perception and auditory-spatial processing in patients with acquired brain lesions.
05Structural, functional and perfusion-weighted MRI at 3T and 7T, combined with statistical lesion-symptom mapping.
06TMS combined with behavioural paradigms, eye- and hand-movement recordings to probe causal brain–behaviour relations.
Unsere Ambulanz bietet neuropsychologische Diagnostik und Beratung für Patienten, die von Neurologen, Allgemeinmedizinern und Rehabilitationszentren überwiesen werden. Termine werden über das Sekretariat vereinbart.
The Division has openings for students striving for a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology, as well as positions for postdocs interested in spatial cognition, object recognition, sensorimotor integration and neuropsychological disturbances.
We investigate patients with brain lesions and healthy subjects using fMRI, TMS, and eye- and hand-movement recordings. Postdoc candidates should have experience with fMRI and/or TMS. Starting date as soon as possible.
